Currently offered is this Stelton free form asymmetrical stainless steel bowl and accompanying rosewood handled salad servers circa 1960. This could possibly be the ultimate salad bowl for many reasons. First off it is very thin, therefore lightweight, and made of a high grade surgical stainless steel and almost impossible to dent. Because it is so thin it looks smaller than it even at 11" wide and 5 1/2" high. really is and takes up less space in the cupboard. Even at only 11" in diameter and 5 1/2" high this will hold a large salad for 4-6 people with no problem. Chills a salad in minutes when placed in the freezer too. Salad servers are also Scandinavian and really compliment the bowl very nicely.
